I'm Sean McConnell. I founded McConnell Group in Seattle with my wife Nicolette in 2017. I'm also a U.S. Navy veteran.

I built this site because buying on the water is different from buying a house on land. The moorage can matter as much as the home. Only a few lenders offer these loans. A standard homeowners policy will not cover you. And the rules depend on which of four legal types you are considering.

My team and I help you see the full monthly cost, identify the right lender and insurer early, and review the dock documents before you commit.
